Mets moving onto Round 2 against Philly after a ninth-inning explosion! OMG Cheers. From a Philadelphia perspective, I don't have a good feeling about this series. The Phils' big hitters haven't been doing enough hitting.

I’m from KC and friends are in need of split screen TV or Monday off to reserve rear end on bar seat at favorite bar in town The Kansas City Royals play the New York Yankees and then the Kansas City Chiefs play the New Orleans Saints and will be “broadcast” as the Center of the Sports World on Monday Night coverage !
I have to be honest, I was sad the Diamondbacks didn’t make it to the playoffs.
I hope your Teams win Good luck to all

The Phils' big hitters haven't been doing enough hitting. I agree. Philly is a rally good team, but I feel good from a Mets perspective just because of recent energy. But that's why they take the field each game
Having gone to undergrad in Philly and liking the city, they've been my "second" team for a few years now.
Cheers.

Ugly, yet expected, result yesterday. Statistically, the series is over. Game 1 winner wins the series something like 75% of the time.

Long time Philly fan, live in western suburbs of Philly for 24 years now and lived in the city for 22 years prior. The frustration with this teams lack of consistent hitting since the All Star break is driving me nuts; not very confident they can come back.

The frustration with this teams lack of consistent hitting since the All Star break is driving me nuts; not very confident they can come back. My theory--first half of the season, opposing pitchers didn't do a good job vs. the Phils. Over the course of the season, they identified the weaknesses of each hitter and were therefore much more successful vs. the Phils big bats in the second half. The Phils rely on the long ball. They don't do well where they need to generate baserunners. Their plate discipline is terrible, swinging at way too many off the plate pitches. Also, Suarez' second half was terrible. I don't know if it's mental or physical.

As evidenced by the leadoff Schwarber home run and then nothing until the 9th. Wheeler was a monster, though.
DH says the Philly bat's have gone silent. Yup, those bats did very little from 1st to 9th inning.
Then again, Mets had only 1 hit until the 8th.
Cheers.

Well, unbelievably, our December WL came thru for Bay Lake. DH thinks it's because of the BL reno plus the change in the TS meeting from annual to quarterly. Whatever! Go us because this can 'replace' our cancelled September vacation. Now I have to figure out air. I have us getting there on SW but now I need to get home. I'm still resisting renewing my AP - LOL. Congratulations on the waitlist! DD is taking her first trip to WDW without us this weekend. She's meeting her college roommate in Tampa on Friday; they're driving to WDW early Saturday morning, staying at Pop Century Saturday night; she'll fly home on Sunday night. Both of them have full time jobs so the quick weekend is the best they can do. I'm sure they'll have a blast. My offer to be their tour guide was rejected. Sounds like a fun trip. Next time you need someone to check up on them, just let me know, ha. Freaking Jets suck once again. Plenty of chances, can’t score a freaking touchdown. Congratulations to your Broncos, Tony. Congratulations to your Cowboys, Dan. Sorry about your Giants, Mike and Mike. Congratulations to your Colts, Karl. Sorry about your Steelers, Patty. Sorry about your Eagles, Hope, Janet, and Janet. Congratulations to your Bears, Sue, Gary, and Beth. Thxs Brian Sorry about your Jets Thanks, Karl. Losing any remaining hope by the week… Mets moving onto Round 2 against Philly after a ninth-inning explosion! OMG Cheers. Congratulations to your Mets, Bruce! What a game that was. Sorry about your Orioles, Tom and Hope. Such a shame after another excellent regular season.

Freaking Jets suck on multiple continents. 3 interceptions for Jackass Aaron. Yes he has now earned the same nickname as his predecessor. Whole team needs to play better, but he has to lead the way for us to have any shot.
Congratulations to your Ravens, Tom.
Congratulations to your Dolphins, Kim.
Sorry about your Patriots, Nancy, Kristin, and Fess.
Sorry about your Colts, Karl.

Lions off today.
