Summer House on the Lake opens tommorow!

I don’t know how the meals are, but I liked the cookies!  I do have a sweet tooth.  There was not a long wait either.  It’s right across from Salt and Straw too to round out the food groups for a meal.  I had the lemon for lunch and then bought the ginger snap for breakfast.  Both were very good.  

They had a cup of cookies that allowed you to try all the flavors too.
 
I tried the gingerbread ice cream at Salt & Straw too and it is very good.

 We will try lunch there in 2024.  I don’t think they will cut into Homecomin’s business, but it’s nice to be able to get a dining reservation which is nearly impossible at Homecomin’ especially last minute.  They don’t seem to have cut into the cult following over at Gideon’s either.  Their chocolate chip looked very good and the cookies are chewy which is nice.  They had another one that I might try on a day trip which looked like a chocolate crinkle.
