I am so so sorry to read that your husband is on Hospice Care. I hope that you both enjoy this time together that you have left. You both will be in my thoughts and prayers.
Call MS and explain your situation. This is the one area that Disney usually excels in, when it comes to family matters and emergencies.

I was in a similar situation as you last year. Member services bent over backwards for me so that is where I would start. Please take care of yourself, too, and know we are all thinking of you and jflatto.

Just to close the loop on this - I unfortunately lost the love of my life last week, so haven't been on here for a bit.
I was able to get refunds for our MNSSHP tickets and for his AP. They wouldn't refund my AP (which I sort of get....). He tired really hard to talk me into keeping the AP since it could be transferred to someone else (but with our kids being Seniors in college and not wanting/needing APs, there really isn't anyone else living at our address) or keeping it to apply to my renewal - but I told him I'm honestly not sure if I'll renew.
It took well over an hour, and being passed from MS to ticketing (who had to escalate and then got MNSSHP taken care of) and then to AP services (and again having to escalate), but finally got it done.

I would call Disney if you haven't. I have found them to be very accommodating when you have a personal situation. They may just refund the $$ to you.
