My top tip for OKW. Make sure you're quick and entering the room and shutting the door. We came back one night and found a Lizard just chilling in the room ! can only assume he snuck in when the door was open.

That must be one of those lizards that hangs out on the wall or ceiling outside the room, they like to catch bugs that are attracted to the lights outside everyone's door. |

I assumed its some sort of Geko. Once he got in the room I tried to get him out and he went under the bed never to be seen again. Hopefully he is still in the room living his best life and eating all the bugs |

We've occasionally stayed over the years but not to visit WDW parks except back in 2001, when staying there convinced us not to join DVC. LOL. The bus situation was bad and the South pool was literally just a hole with water - no slide - just loungers. We never stayed back that way again so maybe it's still the same. It's a good place to visit the surrounding Orlando area as there's a direct access to 192(?), eliminating the use of the main WDW entrance, nice to park right outside the door and the boat to SSR is very relaxing.
