We have a family trip scheduled for September and I was waiting to see if there would be any parties during the days we are there. I wanted to know for planning park reservations, etc but also because I didn’t want to buy MNSSHP tickets on top of park admission. We already paid $1515 for 4 adult non hopping 3 day park tickets. We would not have been able to do the night & morning on a short trip either. DD would have wanted to go, but she even said it would be too much really. Who knows if we would have given in or not though. I’m glad I didn’t have to make the decision! When I bought the tickets, I did forget about the parties being in that timeframe.
Prices are crazy.

We usually do the Christmas party in early November. If it's insanely expensive this year, we will opt out. Guess we will see... Pretty sure the November parties are cheaper than December at least.. Looked up last year's pricing for Halloween and fortunately/unfortunately not much change on the lower/upper ends, though again there is quite a range from month to month. I think that I remember Christmas Party prices being cheaper than the Halloween Party in the past. Not sure if that will hold true this year. And we typically attend one of the first parties, so that does make a difference. Oh well. I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. |

Yes, I have sworn off parks since they instilled park reservations and it’s been totally fine with my last three trips. But….this next trip to take my 87 year old Mom to BLT so she can watch the Marina and boats all day long (pure Heaven for her) somehow got me to grab MNSSHP tickets for me and my Sister. It happens! |
