To take a slightly different slant, I appreciate the restoration of a couple things that were, and then were not, but now have been more or less restored: the Walt Disney World Railroad, and the western fun and games at Whispering Canyon.

It's amazing how much has gone away and not been replaced over the years. - Illuminations: Reflections of Earth and the soundtrack prior to the show
- Main St Electrical Parade & Spectromagic ( I loved both but MSEP was the best)
- Original Journey into Imagination (I have a picture with Dreamfinder and Figment)
- World Showcase Players
- Tapestry of Nations (my favorite parade)
- Parades at DHS.
- Citizens of Hollywood
- Great Movie Ride
- Maelstrom
- Tarzan Rocks (AK)
- Osbourne Lights
- Tables in Wonderland card
- Fastpass+

Well, to be fair, some of these things have been replaced even if we may not like the replacements:
Original Journey into Imagination (I have a picture with Dreamfinder and Figment) - new imagination ride Great Movie Ride - MMRR Maelstrom - Frozen
Osbourne (actually Osborne) lights - Star Wars Land/GE
(although if someone wanted an Osbourne light, there's always this
Cheers.

But.... That's the thing. The replacements are not as good as the original. And why replace? Why not add without taking away? They need more rides to help with the crowds.

What do I miss, going way back to 2007, but I really miss:
1. The Osbourne Light Show
DH had a job transfer that moved us from the North to Florida. I wasn't expecting how much I missed a "real winter", our family and friends that were left behind. Our first time at OSL was as FL residents and I was very very homesick. I burst into tears when the fake snow started.
2. AP's 3. FP+

Agree with so many here.
FastPass+ definitely. 100% Magical Express - just because I liked it as an option. Toon Town Maelstrom Osborne Family lights Backlot Tour (I think I only remember doing that once) Main Street Electrical Parade (or ANY nighttime parade - what the heck, why do we still not have it?) Not having to schedule park entry

I know many great attractions and other items have been added in the past few years, but also some have been taken away. The items we miss the most are as follows: 1. The Great Movie Ride - Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railroad just doesn't do anything for me. 2. The Backlot Tour 3. Lights, Motor, and Action! 4. Toon Town - My grandkids loved seeing Mickey and Minnie's house. 5. A "real" burger at the ABC Commissary 6. Flights of Wonder 7. The Tomb Warriors in the China Pavillon 8. FastPass+ - at least I knew I could get three rides without much trouble. 9. Mr. Toad's Wild Ride 10. Rivers of Light - A great show 11. Main Street Electrical Parade or Spectromagic 12. The Roast Beef Sandwich with Arugula and Horseradish at The Lunching Pad - It was great!! What do you miss at Walt Disney World? All this plus the animation courtyard at hollywood studios. illuminations reflections of earth Free fast pass plus Paper Fast pass Disney dinging plan Tables in Wonderland Snow whites ride

Reading everyone's lists made me realize how many things I miss and it makes me sad. I can accept change for the better. But not just for the sake of change or changing the experience for the worse and that's what I consider most of these changes to be.

While I do miss many of the attractions listed above, I enjoy many of the newer attractions like FOP, ROTR, GOTG, SDD, and I am looking forward to TRON! However, the BIGGEST thing that I miss is FP+ with the ability to book 3 attractions/day a couple of months in advance, rather than having to wake up early while on vacation and race to plan your day. Even if Genie+ continued as a paid service, which I believe is a foregone conclusion, if I had the option of booking in advance, I would prefer it to the 7:00 am EVERY DAY rush while on vacation.

ANNUAL PASSES!!!
Star War weekends-they were SO incredible. They had so many characters out and about: Boba Fett, Jango Fett, Ahsoka, Rex, Luke, Leia, Padme, Mace, and on and on, and the interactions were great. Also contributing to our decisions to buying DVC at BWV. We already enjoyed HS/Epcot, but we loved those weekend. Also they'd started SW character meals. We did a breakfast w stormtroopers, Jawas, and lunch w the Disney characters as SW characters, (like Jedi Mickey, etc>)
DH misses the QS lunch at Be OurGuest.
Maelstrom and Mr Toad for rides, not many of the others area missed. I didn't plan to try it, but the kids were excitedly waiting until they were tall enough to try that create your own roller coaster thing at Epcot. They used to also enjoy that Piggy bank adventure game in Epcot
Agent P missions in Epcot and somewhat the Sorceror's card game in Magic Kingdom. the Agent P games were SO fun
Tapestry of Nations parade, and the nighttime parades at Magic Kingdom
ANNUAL PASS

I do miss the night time parades.

You all have listed many things that are missed, I can’t add more. However I absolutely despise park reservations, I miss the ability to hop on the first bus that shows up. I miss my TIW card. And since I need a scooter, I miss walking around WDW. It’s just not the same.
