Thanks for sharing the links. We've never stayed at BRV, and I SOOOO want to. Looks great to me! I love the coffee pot set up, Keurig pod and pot. I always bring my single serve Keurig for DVC stays, but would be nice not to have to!

In watching the video, I notice they didn't re-texture and paint many of the walls. That specific texture *really* dates the place and I think it was a big mistake to overlook that.

I haven’t watched the video. But before the refurb the 1-bed had a twin pull down so that it slept 5. Have they removed that bed altogether in the refurb? That would be really disappointing IMO, and unprecedented too. It means there’s no difference between CCV and BRV in capacity. It did not have a pull down in the 1 bedroom. It never slept 5 officially. Only the studios slept 5. |

Ok , getting kind of pissed at the refurb here. No.1-Shower faucet is still on the back wall so you have to go in and get wet with cold water when you turn it on. Should have been an easy fix to move it.
No. 2- Not all the rooms have murphy beds in the living room. Yes I understand that the 5th floor will not accommodate then with the crazy angled ceiling but some of the rooms that could have them got a pull out couch.
No.3- when you open the refrigerator the door hits the wall and opens halfway. If you want it to open all the way it needs to be pulled out away from the back wall and then leaves a gap behind it which looks stupid. WTF DVC management.

I know at one point some PVB rooms didn't get them due to supplies but they remedied that within a few months. We had similar problem at OKW - wife solved it by taking the shower wand off the wall and letting it lay on the floor, THEN turned the water on. Assuming your shower has a wand, that is. |

We are here now. The refurb is very pretty if you take it as is. If you are looking for authenic design you may be dsappointed.
Two things - our room was recently refurb'd and returned to use. First, the laundry machine water valves were not open so we had to have maintenance come and slide the unit out to open the valves. After they left we discovered the water supply hoses are cross connected so the hot water setting results in cold water and vice versa. But then the first load of laundry the water leaked all over the floor. Second thing now the dishwasher has leaked all over the floor. We are teasing the maintenance for a grand villa but in reality not life altering problems...

Oh wow. The one bedroom looks really nice. A good combination of theming and also more modern/bright. I was more than underwhelmed with the photos of the sterile BCV rooms. Also, the studio looks a lot better than I was expecting from the pictures in Disney Files. The bed frame is less garish. I might have to consider these rooms for one of our upcoming trips 🤔 I do miss the table and chairs but appreciate the few drawers to the side of the small Murphy bed. We are definitely ones to unpack for our trips. I also don't like the BCV refurb. It looks like the marriot with a couple of donald duck pictures thrown into it. I miss the original BCV theming. |

Studio has a queen bed, a fold out couch, and a Bambi coffin (as my daughter calls it which is a fold down twin bed). A one bedroom has only the bed and the fold out couch, no twin.
