I think our major problem is we're not techy or fast on the cell. I can manage but I just hate having the phone out constantly. Also, it’s mentioned above that there are drop times throughout the day for big rides but is it consistent? Like is it at the same times every day? And how do you find out what the times are, lol? I’m not sure if the drop times are consistent as they were in the past. At least not yet. Partly because there are quite a few more drops for more rides than there were before. Thrill Data publishes charts of availability, if you’re that way inclined. Over on Touring Plans they are being monitored too, which I find easier to read lol!

We used LL Multipass on opening day and the next two days. It was really good! Remarkable that it worked exactly as described from the first minute. There was no slowness or drawbacks from everyone logging in at 7am that morning. I took my time. Did a day, waited a while, did a different day - so I didn't rush thru it and still found all the best rides. I was able to get everything I wanted. Using them and booking cross-park was easy. This is already covered pretty heavily. For anyone who used to get DAS but can't now this will be your future since we rode really everything and didn't wait in lines at all on these days! It also eliminated stacking, which is a good thing for those who are at the parks (tho those who stacked won't like this).
Overall it worked solid from the first minute, did everything I expected, fixed parts of G+ that were broken, and was easy to use. I was obviously using it before there were any forums detailing how-- and we figured it out just by using it for a short time. I definitely see using this more in the future -- but -- selectively.

So we had Muppets at 11.05 or something like that and arrived there at like 10.52 and it was down. I modified it to a Star Tours for 11.30 but we grew tired of waiting in the heat so we decided to just do standby for that at atound 11.10. So in the standby line for that I modified the Star Tours LL back to Muppets at 11.30. You could have just left the Muppets pass alone. At 11:05 if the attraction was not open, it would have converted to a multi-redemption. The ride had been open but broke down. Opened again and broke down again. Yes, they said we could have left the 11:05 but then we'd not be able to book another until we tapped into that and if it was down all the way to 12:05 and the pass expired then we'd have to wait to tap into the 2nd one which was a while later. So what to do from 11am to say 2 or whatever??? We just wanted to go over and ride like 3 or 4 things all in a row and get back to the club lounge. I don't understand it all nor like having to plan like that and then sit on the phone in the sun while in the parks (with my reading glasses on). We'll save it for special trips with friends/family who rarely go to WDW. And we can just do some standby lines once in a while...Star Tours was like 20 mins. Typically, Muppets is also easy to just go. I wish they'd make all the Tier 1 just single buy LL passes and we could just pay for each one of those we want to do. My girls just went to Tokyo Disney and I think that's how it is there. Or at least that's what they did is paid per ride for the ones they did and also standby for a couple things. They said it was way better there and so orderly and organized.

I think our major problem is we're not techy or fast on the cell. I don't want to do any of that stuff. I was excited for the potential for "paid FP+" but this isn't it.

Well, I managed it - thank goodness for the modify option - LOL. Yeah, twice I chose the wrong day and then changed one of the LL+ selections. As usual, the tiers are a negative.
I booked ILL for FOP and a multi LL for HS. I only booked the multi LL because the cost was exactly the same as the single. Reminds me a lot of the FP+ system except now $. What's an extra $75? I'm going to try for the VQ's for other days/parks. I might have missed it but I didn't see RttR as an option on the HS LL+.

There are 5 ILL rides in total: AK - Flight of Passage DHS - Rise of the Resistance Epcot - Guardians MK - Tron & 7dwarves

Also, it’s mentioned above that there are drop times throughout the day for big rides but is it consistent? Like is it at the same times every day? And how do you find out what the times are, lol? You don’t really need to have your phone out all the time. Unless you’re going to try and change times, you can just try booking another each time you scan into one. There are consistent “drop times” through the day, although sometimes a particular ride will not have availability. In each park there are drops of times for a handful of rides. Tiana has drops almost every hour at 47/48 minutes past the hour - unless the ride has been down for some time in which case they might skip a drop. Touring Plans forum has the most accurate times, because there are several people who check the times daily, although they are behind a subscription wall. The Thrill Data site provide info that people deduce the times from, and there are threads on other sites which will give you a good idea as to rides & times. I’m not sure if any blog sites are collating them, there is certainly a thread on WDWMagic, and I’m sure the DIS must be too. I would just try Googling unless you are a TP subscriber, in which case look in La Cava for the pinned thread.
