On this topic of Fixed Week, I was looking at Helena's data on the FWs that are booked, and I find it surprising that ppl want weeks 50 and 52... Sorcerer pass is blocked out half of week 50, and all of week 52. Folks buying those weeks must be getting Incredi-Pass right? A few years ago Disney changed the Sorcerer Pass to block out Thanksgiving instead of Spring Break... did that affect people's FWs? If I'd bought a FW prior I'd have been leaning toward TG week 47. Then if the passes changed and Sorcerer was no longer applicable, I'd be pretty annoyed. Having to (forever after) upgrade 6 APs from Sorcerer to Incredi would cost a good $3K per year just in the upcharge. Side topic-- We found a super cheap round trip in Feb, and then a Duo Studio available for the 4-day weekend, and it qualified for the AP discount! So we booked it and we'll get to check out the Duo Studios this winter. Only drawback is it's Standard View... but $400/nt to get in the new Poly and practically free flight was an awesome find. Week 50 would have some overlap on then the blackout dates for the sorcerer pass. I will be blunt on this. Seeing the amount of points it took for some of these fixed weeks, I could probably say that price is not a consideration for some with annual passes. Also, not everyone does an annual pass and would just do regular park tickets. Others don't even go into the parks during holidays outside of parties. But the end result, is money isn't always an issue for some of the people who can buy direct at larger quantities. Sounds like you got a great deal on your trip coming up! I am effectively grounded until after February next year. My schedule is better bunk from August through February right now. I am considering booking a Duo for my 50th in a couple of years though when certain events don't get in the way of my travel because my kid will not be in high school anymore

BWV Dreamin first week 39 showed up today. From Oct 3 a tower studio standard view for a total of 114 points Random thing I noticed. All contracts have been for a portion of unit 88 (A-E is what is declared) but one today from Oct 3rd is unit 46 which is Pago Pago 2nd floor declared back in early 2016. Makes me think those some of us lost to ROFR will be used quicker than I thought. As a whole the average contract size is a bit over 131. A number of larger contracts, but some obvious people like me who needed to round out what we already had more than likely. Almost 64k points recorded so far. 69 contracts today so far for PVB out of 117. For those curious Riviera had 26 deeds recorded today. Since PVB began recording deeds again on the 14th, Riviera has had 253 deeds recorded. PVB is 490. Cabins are at 27. Cabins total deeds combined recorded since start of sales is 418. I've been seeing AKL, SSR, and BLT show up quite a lot. Sales for public with PVB start tomorrow.

I am waiting for Nov 19th to roll around to see if I can change one of my upcoming 2025 trips, so I can can stay at the new Tower. Good luck to you! What are you hoping for? Availability was better than I was expecting for us. I know you still have new buys to go through for a few more weeks. And at least you can do it online! BWV Dreamin first week 39 showed up today. I want to see how bad these standard views are that people are worried about. Honestly can't be much worse than Pago Pago monorail facing rooms are.

Honestly can't be much worse than Pago Pago monorail facing rooms are. Or the rooms at the Grand Floridian I was just thinking that not too long ago. I had a 4th floor room facing porte-chochere for VGF so we saw its roof and parking lots. But watched the monorail go by and my brain just kind of ignored the red roof. I'll hush but if I did fine at Riviera too I'm sure I'll deal with the vew. Having the 1 bedroom there is a game changer.

Does anyone know the sft of the villas? I still think the one and two bedrooms look narrow. Yes I do! Duo: 262 sq ft Studio: 378 sq ft 1 Bed: 767 sq ft 2 Bed: 1145/1150 sq ft (lock off vs dedicated) Penthouse: 1391 sq ft As a reference the BWV (with BRV, BCV, SSR etc all close) Studio: 359 sq ft 1 bed: 712 sq ft 2 bed: 1071 sq ft I'm told the depth perception is lost on camera which I have seen for other rooms too. BLT has a 1152 sq ft 2 bedroom. AKL Kidani is 1173 sq ft Rivier and VGF are larger at 1246 & 1242 sq ft respectively Obviously, OKW is largest of them all for 2 bedrooms (even more than the penthouse). So PVB IT will be larger than average but not the largest of them all. One of our other homes outside of PBV and OKW is CCV. These 2 bedrooms will have 100 sq ft more which will be plenty IMO.

How's a Duo Studio at the Poly compare to a Tower Studio at the Riviera?

How's a Duo Studio at the Poly compare to a Tower Studio at the Riviera? Riviera is 255 sq ft for their tower duos. So they are larger by a very small margin.
