We had Geyser Point last summer and it was great. I would make the trip on the boat for it. Getting there is not as fast as getting to Kona Cafe but worth the time if you have it to spare.

Just chiming in with words of support and commiseration. - Geyser Point is awesome. One of my wife's and my favorite little places we've visited. It was so pleasant there.
- The loss of the blue flag boats between FW/WL/Contemporary, as well as the loss of the ferry to MK is so frustrating. It used to still be up on their website, but it has now been changed, and even the little transportation icons for the contemporary only show a bus and a monorail.

And Geyser Point absolutely does not have friendly wildlife that might wander up to your table looking for a handout...

We've only had snacks here and it was very nice. The location is the real draw. Just so tranquil and relaxing. Will definitely be back. Cheers. When Tim opts for an afternoon nap, I love to take a book (or my tablet) and just go relax at one of the lakeside tables. It's so peaceful!  |

The last time I was there at the small boats still make the loop from MK to Polynesian to GF and back.

It's one of my favorite places at WDW to relax, and the food is good too. I like the sofas in the evening for watching the Electrical Water Pageant.

Re: Transportation, I can't answer. We usually just drive ourselves. But I cannot speak highly enough about the food at Geyser Point. It's so good! The bison burger is delicious, although much too big to eat myself and nobody ever wants to split one with me. The crab cakes are my 2nd favorite. My mouth is watering just thinking about it!

Tim also likes the Bison burger. Tamara really liked the Salmon. I honestly haven’t had a bad meal there. Even if I am partial to the kids burger with grapes. The bunnies like grapes…

We also enjoy geyser point. The price point is also reasonable for Disney priced food. I think I always get the portobello salad. We have noticed seating in the actual geyser point area can be tough to come by.

Nice atmosphere, food was good. Been there three times only bad experience was due to an ignorant hostess. I don’t eat bison, but my son does and has enjoyed. The other food and drinks were enjoyable.

The last time I was there at the small boats still make the loop from MK to Polynesian to GF and back. Yes those resumed a long time ago. As did the WL to Mk and Ft W to MK. The WL, Ft Wilderness, then Contemporary loop did not. |

I am another one disappointed that they never returned the boats between FW and WL, and WL and Contemporary. I was hoping we could use that on our next trip to go from WL to the Hoop Dee Do.
Also the walking path! Didn't they close that because of the construction started for the Reflections resort, which is now canceled?
Was thinking we could go to Hoop Dee Do, then relax lakeside with a drink at Geyser Grill.
They have a great crab cake, and I really like the quinoa salad they have as a side. Bison burger is good too.
They used to have a secret menu, but I wouldn't be surprised if that has gone away.

We think it's worth a visit. We have enjoyed drinks and lunch a few times. I think it's time for us to visit again.
