Still waiting for my contract to go through. I haven't heard anything yet. ROFR was just sent out May 2, so that's why this time crunch is on. I hope somehow this closes by mid-June, but it could drag on weeks later. I'll definitely come back with update. Thanks everyone for your input.

An update: June 30th I finally got the points in my account. By July 6th, I had rented most of them out. I only charged $16/pt, but this month isn't a good time for me to take a vacation. While a luxury weekend was enticing, ultimately it was nice to have the $ to help pay down my purchase and maintenance costs. I actually still have 7 points. I assume I can transfer them and if anyone is interested, please let me know. Again, need to use by Aug 1 (banked from 2022). Thanks for everyone's advice. I still plan on doing some really nice trips soon as I will also be getting 300 banked pts from 2023 along with my 2024 pts. Not sure I'll use all 600 pts, but that's how I'm leaning. Actually getting stressed trying to decide where to stay, etc. I love so many of the WDW resorts, but not also thinking about an Aulani trip or even a Grand Californian since I never been to either. Excited to finally be an owner.

Excited to finally be an owner. Our resale contract came with banked points when I purchased in 2011. Used those extra points for a family trip to Aulani. Our 2 bedroom ocean view villa was beautiful! Will never forget that “once in a lifetime trip”

Your only option for the remaining points would be to use them to book a single night (borrowing a few if necessary). Given the timeframe I do not recommend that. 😊

I vote using on luxury weekend. Poly usually has openings and that would be fun. I am biased though as it is my fav resort. 10 years ago they did track exceptions. However, I found that talking nicely to a MS-Agent was usually productive. In my case the once only rule was never enforced, but they new my family circumstances. Also if your agent doesn't give you a warm smiley feeling over the phone, Politely hang-up and try again. MS are people too, some have bad days, some are too new to know all the options. -Tony 🐸
