I was in the car yesterday thinking about Disney and brand loyalty.
Disney has a very strong brand loyalty, even though that brand has been tarnished or challenged in some ways by leadership lately.
I was thinking what other brands have loyalty similar to Disney's. Maybe I'm missing some, but there don't seem to be that many.
Ones I thought of were:
Apple
Chick Fila
Wawa
In N Out Burger
Buc-ee's (only by what I've heard?)
I'm sure I'm missing some, or there are regional brands that I don't know of, any thoughts?

Interesting thoughts. Apple is the only one I think I have as much loyalty to as Disney. Here in Ohio we have the Cincinnati-style chili and it's Skyline vs. Gold Star and people have opinions. I've only had Skyline, but I like it enough that I don't feel the need to try Gold Star  |

Dunkin Starbucks Samsung Local sports teams I love Starbucks; would choose Starbucks over other coffee shops here at home, but I would choose a Joffrey's stand over Starbucks at Disney every time. |

Not sure I really count Disney as brand loyalty as it is more that we like Florida, it's a clean place compared to the much of the rest of Florida and we are DVC owners. The only brand loyalty that I can think of is GMC.

I think some brand loyalties are different than others. Apple and Samsung loyalties are real. My brother teases me about my Samsungs while praising his Apple. It's nuts.
The food ones I'm not sure I follow. Even skyline as an Ohioan I don't see it. Definitely not Chick Fil A here. Maybe Starbucks
Universal has followers for sure. I think more things like Harry Potter or Star Wars have total followers. Almost to a fault for each.

Costco is real...I know some real Costco fanatics. I like a good trip to Costco, but doesn't fall under brand loyalty to me. Disney Apple In the food theme - there's Pepsi vs Coke. Now, I'm a diet pepsi fan. Always extremely disappointed at Disney - no diet pepsi. |

And while sitting in the Costco parking lot yesterday, on our drive home from Disneyland, I was pondering, " Could I plan a cross-country trip from San Diego to WDW stopping only at Costco for fuel and food-court pizza? Hmmm." Editing to confess my own addictions from those mentioned in this thread: Disney, Starbucks, Costco and Apple. Oh, my! |

Just purchased a retirement home 10 minutes from Costco. And we definitely travel from Costco to Costco or Bucees to Bucees or Costco to Bucees as much as possible. For much of my life, my family drove Fords and flew American Airlines. I'm guessing many families remain loyal to one particular automotive group and one airline? (Did this whole 'loyalty' game start with the airlines??) Oh! What about laundry detergents or soaps? Anyone else grow up using only Tide detergent or Dove Soap? Maybe Irish Spring? or ...  |

I agree I like Diet Pepsi way better but I an not loyal because I also like Dr Pepper. We will only use Sherwin Williams paint. Lol |
