We recently stayed in a refurb studio and I had the feeling that the design was aimed more at the people who wanted to maximize head count per room than those that wanted to be comfortable. Not a big fan.

Hahaha. We are 77 degrees in summer, 68 degrees in winter. We have the cheapest electric/gas bills in the neighborhood LOL

68 would work for us, as well as the missing table and chairs. We used the table more when we were younger and into room service. I like the rooms that have the padded bench as we live out of our carry-ons. It would be nice if they tossed one of them in that space.

Maybe if members complain they will bring back the table and chairs. Agree that is odd- hotel rooms offer more than that. To me having less than hotel rooms is no longer welcome home but please leave - not welcome

I need a table and chairs. Is a deal breaker for us as we eat in our room a lot. Praying CCV studios keep the table and chairs after the next refurb.

Agree with all the comments, let DVC know these should have a table and chairs..

Agree with all the comments, let DVC know these should have a table and chairs.. Except that some of us are OK without eat (eat on the patio for breakfast) and like the extra space. So this is not an universal issue.
Cheers.

I will caution to anyone who has actually not tried these lifting tables to not worry too much before getting there. I absolutely love these tables way more than I do the small round or just the two person tables at Polynesian and such. I found those tables were nowhere near as usable for eating as these lift up tables were. I understand if you don't like them as a preference, but if you haven't been there try not to worry too much.

For us…it’s the chairs as much as the table! Awfully uncomfortable loveseat and no where else to sit.
Why do we have to choose anyway? I’m sure if designed well, plenty of room for both.

I don't think there was room in SSR where I first encountered it. I'll get a vibe in a few days at BWV in our 2 bedroom

I hope the BWV refurb includes better shower heads than those in the BW Inn. The BWI shower heads are really bad. We stayed at YC on Friday and Saturday, and those showers/shower heads are the best I've seen in WDW.

And to add, my biggest issue with no table/chairs is that I often have to work while there and the new doesn’t work well for this.

For us, they call this a "Vacation Home". A home required a table. And Chairs. The chairs are really needed IMHO.

Definitely should have chairs. My 88 year old Mom cannot get up off a couch. Too soft and low. She needs a chair when sitting.
