I have a stupid question. Doing a split stay at the end of July which we have not done in a LONG time. Going from All Star Movies (trying to save some points) to Kidani. Will bell services still manage bag transfers? Yes they will, but they no longer transfer chilled or frozen groceries.

We used to use WDW's luggage transfer for split stays, but the delivery time has been all over the place, so we now use Uber/Lyft. If you opt for the WDW transfer, make sure you don't have anything in your luggage that you might need later in the day (change of clothes for dinner, medication, etc.).

Looking at resale contracts, how is it that I am seeing these words: "Buyer pays 2024 maintenance fees". It's halfway through the year? How is that these aren't paid yet. Or did the current owner pay them and they want to recoup that money? I saw this just now on a listing that is only a week or two old. At least that's what the date on the listing says.

The owner has already paid and wants to recoup the money. Buyers usually always pay current dues.

Cheers.

I just paid prorated 2024 dues. The seller is getting reimbursed for the 2024 points he did not use. My UY is June so I'll have most of the UY to use them. Deed was just recorded today. Depending on where one is buying it can be negotiable or not. My PVB had little wiggle room. I worked lower closing fees in lieu of point cost reduction. Since I have a June UY it felt only fair to pay dues for 2024.

I'd like to take advantage of the current 20 percent passholder discount at Sanaa. Is the discount valid for to-go orders or only for dine-in?

Contemplating an 8-Night stay. My understanding is that we can book a max of 7 nights at a time. So, is this the correct process: Book the first 7-nights at once, and then add the 8th night the next day? This is done online by modifying the 7-Night reservation, yes? Makes me slightly anxious to go into a reservation to make any changes, so want to be sure. Anything I need tips or tricks for on this? I'm hoping it's relatively straight-forward.... TIA!

Q: When should I make my Disney Vacation Club Resort reservations?
A: Your booking window gives you the ability to make reservations up to 11 months in advance of your Check-In date at your Home Resort, and 7 months in advance of your Check-In date at all other Disney Vacation Club Resorts. When the online booking window opens at 8:00 AM Eastern Time, you can book a stay of up to 7 consecutive nights! Please note: Reservations are made on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to book your reservations as far in advance as possible. Give yourself some flexibility and keep alternate dates and accommodations in mind.

We recently sold an OKW contract which Disney snapped up. My question is how long does it usually take them to initiate closing? Someone correct me if I’m wrong but I think the process should be easier and smoother when Disney buys back a contract. Anyone have experience with this? TIA!

If we rent a car from Alamo at the WDW CCC, I know they will pick me up at my resort at my requested time. Do they allow us to bring our luggage on the shuttle van?
We're doing a split BWI/Vero trip and won't need the car until we go to Vero, so I'm thinking we could pick up the car on our WDW departure day and head straight to Vero from the CCC.

Memory Maker question--my son and future daughter-in-law are going on their honeymoon the end of July. DH wants them to have Memory Maker to be able to download pictures from their trip but also so her mother and stepmother can see their pictures while they are on their trip. If my son adds both as family to his account and sends them a link, will they be able to look at the pictures? And do they need to set up their own Disney accounts?
