Valet gets charged to room. No way to tip in any other method outside of cash. I did a valet parking unexpectedly this past summer and asked and told nope, no way. The guys were super nice about it knowing it wasn't an expected use due to changes in parking that I wasn't aware of. Otherwise I tip like $3-5 or so. Once you pay for valet at one resort you can use it at others.
We tip $2 per bag or so if they hold at the front desk for us.

I’m not in that camp so I’m looking for baselines, please, from other MOs. We tip Mears $5 for our two carry-ons. The cruise guy we tipped $2 because it was that or a $20.... We tip BS $10/$20 depending on how much we order and how fast they deliver the order. We tip housekeeping $20 for 4 or 5/N stay unless we make a mess than it's $25. We add 20% to every beverage and/or food order.

One other thig we do re tipping--since we don't often carry cash, a few weeks before we leave for WDW we break a few $20's at the local convenience store by purchasing something really cheap(under $5) so we accumulate enough $1/$5/$10's.

As needed, I go to the bank and get $100 worth of singles and just make sure to have them in my wallet. I do the same with $5s and $10s as well. I just do these as withdrawals and keep extra around at home.
Cheers.

Thanks everyone. Went to the bank for our stash of hurricane cash and tip money. I’m not sure if we will be charged again when we go to the Poly for Kona or not. It’s day 2 so we shall see. I care, but yet I don’t My mom loves Tonga toast and she only goes once a year.

Before a cruise one time, I went to the bank and got a pile of $2 bills. People seemed pretty amazed when they saw them, it was fun. Nobody accused me of them being fake, luckily.

Hey, anyone know if they still have DVD players in the rooms? specifically Saratoga Springs and Copper Creek? Bringing our Chromecast, but several movies that I was considering are n/a, and was thinking of bringing the DVDs. Not a necessity, but just wondering. THanks!

No DVD players in CCV or Saratoga that I saw my trips last year (happened to stay at both). They should be available upon request.

If you go to the DVC Member website, and look at the amenities for each room, you can see DVD player is listed.
Saying that, I do not think DVD players are still in the rooms, but can be requested for your room.

We don't watch TV when at Disney, but does streaming work for WDW? I know that they don't have any of the streaming apps on the TV like most hotels do, but not sure if they are set up to allow casting to the TV. I looked briefly out of curiosity, but did not notice a casting option.
Cheers.

Casting works. I just did it 2 weeks ago. And there were instructions on how to do it.

As they upgrade the TV system at each resort, they are adding a casting option. Riviera has the casting option now. BWV is supposed to be getting it, but not available as of this past weekend. Not sure what other resorts have been upgraded to include casting.

Can we enter EPCOT at 8:30a to walk back to do Ratatouille standby? We've never ridden Ratatouille so that is my goal for our next stay, along with waking up in time to do the VQ's. LOL.
